Curriculum and activities at this year‘s Cambridge Experience have been put together and will be supervised a team of dedicated fun loving and capable experts. Each one comes with experience, dynamism and passion for teaching, mentoring and inspiring. They all come from great learning institutions of learning across the world.
Mara Brera is a graduate of Fine Arts from the prestigious Academy of Arts in Perugia Italy. She is an expert of sculpture, graphic design, deco and restorations. She teaches and leads sessions in Art Therapy. She has participated in a wide range of Arts Exhibitions across the world. Mara is also a researcher and consultant for health and arts.
Katie-Jane is a member of the Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club. A recipient of the University of Leicester Award for Managerial and Leadership Skills, she graduated with a 1st class honours in Management Studies and holds a postgraduate degree with research in Modern Society & Global Transformations from the Cambridge University She is keen sportswoman: she loves water sports and running.
Laura Petruso is a practising architect, writer and teacher. She is a member of The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Laura studied architecture in Italy, France and England. She is winner of several international awards and has taught in Lausanne in Switzerland and Oxford in the United Kingdom
Michael Pomphrey is a trained Physicist, experienced Educationalist and School Leader. After university, Michael worked commercially as a computer systems analyst and then, for three years, as a teacher in the Royal Navy. Having completed his Commission, he started his teaching career in civilian institutions in England. He has over thirty years experience in school education both in England and abroad. He currently designs science curricula for colleges in and around Cambridge.
Luke is Cambridge Experience 2018 head of research and extracurricular activities. He is a poet, playwright and film director. He works with young people in schools and clubs across the UK and Europe. Many of his students have taken parts in plays and films in London, New york and Paris.
Ian is Cambridge Experience 2018 head of research and academic curriculum. He is Cambridge Professor of Mathematics and communication. He works on youth development in science and communication.
Dawn is The Cambridge Experience 2018 international programme coordinator. She is a CIAPS Administrator and Events Coordinator
Cambridge Experience 2018 International Director. A Youth Development Expert. Anthony Kila is a Professor of Strategy and Development and currently CIAPS Centre Director. He is a regular commentator on the BBC and works with various organisations on international development projects across Europe Africa and the USA
Tamsin Flower is an Arts Council England supported Writer/Director, an arts manager and educator. She has an MA in Creative Writing from UEA‘s prestigious program and an MA in Performance Studies (Acting) from Drama School, Mountview. Her BA is in Film Studies.
Tamsin has variously worked as a Literacy Coordinator, Assistant Producer, Community Arts Producer and film development assistant. She is currently working on an ACE supported, cross-platform Literature project and developing creative EU projects through the Erasmus+ program.
